L’OFFICIEL Arabia, a global and multichannel network producing over 40K unique pieces of content per year and reaching 14M users around the world, has partnered with the creators of the Web3 Evolve event to showcase various luxury brands, which have ventured into the Web3 space, in addition to how blockchain is enhancing the supply chain and e-commerce businesses. 

The event will take place on October 30-31 at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah, and will witness the launch of L’OFFICIEL Arabia’s limited edition NFT collection, in the presence of well-known UAE artists. Apart from different luxury exhibitors, several industry experts will be tackling various sectors that have evolved in the Web3 space. 

Speakers will include prominent personalities from the Real Estate Regulatory Board, the education sector, the Metaverse, as well as NFT artists. 

In an exclusive interview with UNLOCK Blockchain, Johnson Mendonca, Head of partnerships, explained, “L’Officiel plans to empower the creator economy by partnering with local artists to create limited edition utility NFTs and a comprehensive loyalty programme for secondary sales.” 

“Ecommerce business helps the luxury brands of l’Officiel to explore and evolve in the Web3 space. This event gets on board partners who will showcase several ways of how web3 luxury brands can plan their Metaverse strategy,” Mendonca added. 

The Web3 Evolve event is a two-day event that will consist of : 

Day one, which will kick off with L’Officiel’s NFT launch, followed by a full day conference, covering topics like luxury real estate tokenization, demos on wellness in the Metaverse, women in web3, etc. 

The first day of the event will conclude with the first L’OFFICIEL Arabia Awards, in the aim of recognizing and celebrating the achievements of entrepreneurs from 15 different categories in the Web3 & luxury space. 

Day two, which will be an invite-only makeup master class, powered by Iconic London. 

It is important to note that L’Officiel is not new to the metaverse space, having launched a first-of-its-kind metaverse, as part of a series of initiatives celebrating the global media brand’s 100th anniversary. 

Titled House of Dreams, the project is a virtual museum experience with an exhibition that chronicles a century of fashion history, while exploring what’s next at the intersection of luxury, art, culture, and technology. The museum has been open since September 30, 2022, with a special online vernissage featuring L’Officiel global cover stars Jessica Chastain and Maluma
